Tuna Steaks with Creamy Garlic Sauce Salad


Ingredients:

For the Tuna Steaks:

2 fresh tuna steaks (6-8 oz each)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Salad:

Mixed greens (arugula, spinach, lettuce)

Cherry tomatoes, halved

Cucumber, sliced

Red onion, thinly sliced

Olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dressing

Instructions:

Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise (or yogurt), minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Chill until serving.

Cook the tuna: Season tuna steaks with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear tuna steaks about 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare (longer if preferred).

Prepare the salad: Toss mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Serve: Plate tuna steaks, spoon creamy garlic sauce over or beside them, and serve with the fresh salad.
