Garlic Shrimp and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups broccoli florets

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil

1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional for thickening)

Instructions:

  1. Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink (2–3 minutes per side).
  4. Stir in broccoli, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Mix well.
  5. (Optional) Add cornstarch slurry to thicken sauce. Stir for 1 minute.
  6. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
