Ingredients (serves 2–3)
200g Greek yogurt (2% or 0–2% fat) – ~20g protein
1 large orange, peeled and segmented (or 150ml fresh orange juice)
1–2 tsp orange zest for extra flavor
1–2 tsp sweetener (stevia, monk fruit, or erythritol) – optional if your orange is sweet enough
Optional: 1 egg white whipped to soft peaks for fluffier texture
Instructions
Whip the base:
If using egg white: whip it until soft peaks form.
Mix Greek yogurt with orange zest and sweetener until smooth.
Combine:
Gently fold the orange segments or juice into the yogurt.
If using whipped egg white, fold it in carefully to keep the mixture airy.
Chill:
Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes to allow flavors to meld and texture to set.
Serve:
Spoon into small bowls or glasses. Optional garnish: extra zest, a few orange segments, or a sprinkle of chopped nuts for crunch.
Why this works for a high-protein, low-calorie treat
Greek yogurt packs 20g+ protein per 200g.
Using natural orange for sweetness keeps sugar low (or use a keto-friendly sweetener if needed).
Whipped egg white adds fluff without adding fat or sugar.
Quick to prepare and very satisfying—perfect for a “dessert that feels indulgent” but keeps macros in check.
💡 Extra tip: You can make a meal-prep batch in small jars for 3–4 days—just fold in orange segments right before serving to keep them fresh.
