Ingredients:
1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
2-3 tart apples, such as Granny Smith, diced
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
Prep the Broccoli:
Steam the broccoli florets until they’re tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes. Drain well.
Rinse the broccoli with cold water to stop the cooking process and refresh it.
Combine Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the steamed broccoli, diced apples, chopped nuts (if using), and dried cranberries.
Make the Dressing:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Assemble and Chill:
Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss to coat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to 24 hours) to allow the flavors to meld/……….
